  • ¼ cup chopped pistachios
  • A pinch of salt
  • A few drops of pink food colouring (optional)


Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F/175°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing dish, combine the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in the rose water and pink food colouring (if using) until thoroughly mixed.
  4. Gradually whisk in the flour and salt until a dough forms.
  5. Fold the crushed walnuts lightly into the dough.
  6. Roll the dough into small balls and set them on the prepared baking pan.
  7. Flatten each ball slightly with your palm.
  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly brown.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ cup ghee (clarified butter)
  • ¼ teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • A pinch of saffron strands
  • Chopped almonds for garnish.


Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F/175°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing dish, blend the ghee and powdered sugar until smooth.
  3. Mix in the cardamom powder and the soaked saffron threads in milk.
  4. Gradually incorporate the flour into the mixture, stirring until a soft dough forms.
  5. Divide the dough into little balls, then flatten them gently with your palms.
  6. Place the cookies on the prepared baking sheet and top with chopped almonds.
  7. Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until the cookies are lightly brown.
